Mornin' manual stats VUMP!

Top two scores as of this morning:

(Previous day's stat)

Total votes Firefly: 456,712 (455,568)

Total votes Xena: 414,017 (413,509)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 1,144 (1,044) times.

Yesterday, Xenites voted 508 (483) times.

(Xenites voted 636 (561) times less than Browncoats, yesterday).

Firefly is 42,695 (42,059) votes ahead of Xena. We were ahead of the combined daily vote total of the next top ranked 2 shows, Xena 508, and Bonanza 495!

Firefly was also ahead of the combined daily vote total of the 2 top scoring shows, Xena 508, and Jericho 518.

Browncoat votes rose by 100 yesterday, 9.58%; Xenite votes rose by 25, 5.18%.

Our next, big goal is half a million, 43,288 (44,432) votes away, still about 37.84 (42.56) days out as we are currently voting.

4,797,562 (4,787,017) votes have been counted as of 11/05/07. 10,545 (9,998) votes were cast yesterday. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast yesterday, we needed to vote 1,055 (1,000) times, which we exceeded by by 89 votes. We increased our share to 9.5196689% (9.5167408%) of all votes ever cast, and climbing.

Now that we've finally got that 10% slice of the pie on Rich Labonte's charts, let's make it official, with no round-up!

Our 1000+ votes/day still rebuilds at 7 days; we made it through the weekend!

Finally, a big Browncoat Xie-Xie to all you voters either returning to the polls, or, joinin' us here at TV Vote for the first time!

Seems the western block has done a lot better than the scifi block in general at retaining voters past the outage. A lot of the shows I vote for have dropped down the projected rankings.

BSG went from projected #4 to #5.
Buffy went from #6 to #8.
SG1 went from #10 or 11 to #14.
Angel went from #8 to #10.

It seems like the shows that have claimed the higher places are all westerns. I guess western fans are harder to discourage? I dunno.

Doesn't surprise me to much, as I think they are a very tighter knit core of voters as it is (meaning that its mostly all the same people voting for all the same shows, where the scifi shows may get a lot of crossover voters, there are still more people spreading their votes around more). If memory serves back in April or so when we had the big shoot out with Xena the western voters kept very steady.
