The one that bothered me was seeing Anya almost cut in half in the final Buffy episode.

I know. Of all the people that died at the end of the series, THAT was the one that really bothered me. Anya was without a doubt my most favorite character of the series.

I'm just hoping that maybe in the comics, she could pop up as a ghost to torment Xander when he finally starts dating. She's too good a character to waste.

The burial scene at the end of "The Message". I cry every time because it's my worst fear to bury someone I've known who is still so young.

Very true! There is this one film I saw recently (I've seen a lot lately, so they're all a blur right now) where one character was explaining that the scariest monsters in the world were human beings. (Maybe it was Zodiac. I can't remember.) Sometimes they are even your neighbors. That's why characters like Michael Myers and Norman Bates are horror legends.
