Were the women w/Andrew (and part of his trick on Angel and Spike) Slayers? Is that what we're supposed to think?

Buffy: I'm just worried this whole session's gonna turn into some training montage from an '80's movie.
Giles: (sighs) Well, if we hear any inspirational power chords we'll lie down till they go away.
"They talk about me in the chatty rooms?"--Angel
"There's a hole in the world. Feels like we ought to have known."--Spike

Confused by your answer. What does the Dana ep. have to do with it?

I never considered the girls as part of his trick on Angel & Spike. I always thought that he legitimately had some fancy to-do he had to show up for, and the girls were his arm candy.
And in light of the S8 comics, my guess would be, yeah, they were slayers. Maybe the party had something to do with business, and having slayers there was a good idea. I think S8 begins after NFA, which is too bad--I'd love to see the rest of that storyline...
