Huh. I heard rumours about this (amongst other things), but couldn't quite make heads or tails of 'em....
I liked a couple of the Young Indy episodes, and I only really remember SPF's role. Every episode had its ups and downs: 'The Phantom Train of Doom' was a mite cheesy, but I still enjoyed it for obvious reasons.
'Trenches of Hell'....exciting and compelling, but way too derivative of 'The Great Escape'. 'Adventures in the Secret Service', now that one was good - but of course I lent it to my mom's Russian professor and never got it back.
Mayhaps a jaunt over to Borders is in the orders....

I would love to get a set, but I think it's definitely way over-priced. I will be waiting to get one used on Amazon or E-bay.
I am saving my money for the hd dvd set of season one of BSG.
Sex and violence on the big screen, where it belongs.

I only vaugely remember this show. I forgot there was a younger boy. I remeber the teen version and the older version of Indy. Not really interested and won't go on my list of xmas presents. That's reserved for Heroes, Eureka, and the SEBDM.
To me the best and really only good version of young Indy was River Pheonix's in the third installment, maybe that's why it was hard getting into the show.

Young Indy is my second favorite television series after Firefly... followed closely at third by Twin Peaks.
The show has such a cool balance of drama, humor, history, character, plot, etc. It's obvious that a lot of love was put into every episode of the show by Lucas, the writers and directors, the actors, and the rest of the crew.
I highly recommend this series to any Browncoat and/or lover of great television.

Sooooooo was not. As I see it Lydecker only FELT he was responcible for what he called "his kids." But he never gave it a thought when he hurt and/or KILLED them. I never saw shades of grey, he was fully bad and only helped (so called) the super soldiers when it was in his best interest to get them back and USE them again.
Bennet did bad things overall, but it was to PROTECT Clair and his family. He went out of his way to see she was never hurt or found out and even SACRIFICED himself and his carreer to protect her. He never hurt her and wouldn't think about doing her any harm. Hell if she lost her powers and someone was ready to shoot her Bennet would jump in front of the bullet.
Bennet is trying to take down the Company so his family and others like Claire would never be hunted and experimented on again.
Lydecker, for the most part, is the company and wants his experiments back.
Bennet was a father who did whatever was in his power to protect and hide his family.
Lydecker just wanted his "family" of super soldiers back so he could control them and put them to work. See where I'm going here?
Oh, one last thing. Clairbear loves her dad, whatshername? Not so much.
Sorry to sound pissy Chrisisall, I really love hearing your insights and reading your posts and I do respect your opinions, but this is something I will always defend.
Lydecker's a scumbag in it for himself,
Bennet's a scumbag in it for his family.
Nuff said.
Oh, one other thing. "His kids" were running away from him.
Clair and family turned to dad to help hide them.

Lydecker had a heart- where Max was concerned..,
Bennet has a heart- where his family is concerned...,
Complicated villains that turn out to be allies in the fight for good is the connection I'm trying to make here; Bennet is ultimately more 'good' than Lydecker...
Is there agreement on this point?

This is a library DVD for me. The library in Regina is really good at getting full season DVD's of shows I'd like to watch in pristine quality, but not necessarily want to rent or buy. With this one, I want to rent it definitely, but I'm not going to buy something I vaguely remember.

I don't know Chris, I really can't get on the Lydecker bandwagon. I probably never will. I will agree Bennet is more "good", and I will agree, Heroes is da bomb.
I do like Max and her lover. They did become lovers didn't they? Been a while since I saw it.
