Chiara Zanni plays Amy, on a new show 'About a Girl ', on The N. Caught myself watching it and it didn't take long for me to realize why she looked familiar.

Ya gotta squint though.....maybe ?

Or SMG is a poor man's her b/c quite frankly, I find her much more attractive than SMG. Probably because SMG has pretty much gone completely anorexic and this chick, though slim, still has some meat on her bones (check out the cheeks).

Then again, given the trends seen in hollywood, I'm probably in the minority with those opinions. Meh.

Chiara has a wider face, but her figure is quite nice. I was comparing her to SMG cira mid Buffy series, not current. But if you watch the show for 5 minutes, ( about all I could stand, myself ) and see Chiara shot from different angles and lighting ,etc.... it kinda made me do a double take. Not saying she's a twin, but could do a stand in for a body double.

I wasn't saying that they were not similar. I was just getting at the "lesser" is typically the "poor man's" whatever. And IMO the wording should be the other way around given my opinion of Chiara.

Anyway, I agree that SMG was *much* better looking mid-series. She ditched the chubbiness of the first season(s) and entered a slim, but very healthy area. Of course, like many she took it *way* too far as seen in the later seasons.

But, I find Chiara more attractive, even against SMG mid Buffy, not just because she has a wider face, but because it's actually healthily (sp?) filled out. The bonus being that the rest of her isn't overly so

Well, that and that I just find her better looking. Never really found SMG that good looking in the first place. Perhaps I should duck and cover after saying that

But, it's nice to see this balance achieved. I wonder how long it'll last before Chiara buys into the hollywood BS and gets disturbingly skinny.

She's a good looking girl, don't know which I prefer out of her of SMG. Maybe if she starts to kick some demon butt it'd make it easier.

I also thought Chiara looked more like (German??) actress Jessica Boehrs of Eurotrip and the band Novaspace fame.
