If I'm reading the inferences correctly, then the cure to alzheimer's disease may be one drug away.

High Fructose Corn Syrup = diabetes - Alzheimers.

Aluminum Lake also causes Alzheimers, and is a coloring used in foods, vitamins and medications.

These are not accidental fuckups.

Strange to find myself siding with PN on this one, but yeah, a lotta what you find in food these days can harm you over time.

Also worth noting is that every flu shot (no surprise, considering what's in em!) exponentially increases the risk of alzheimers in the elderly - and yet the first folk they push it at when flu season strikes is them, I know they're more vulnerable to it, but wouldn't improving diet and proper food handling and sanitation be almost as helpful with less risk ?

There's also the theory that some cases of Alzheimers are in fact possibly a misdiagnoses of vCJD, but I don't have the medical background relative to know whether that's a viable theory or not.

If I ever enter such a state though, I would expect my friends to have the decency to knock me off - before the people who's dark secrets I would likely be mumbling would.

They might be vCJD. They might also be 'normotensive hydrocephalus' which may be curable with surgery. http://www.emedicine.com/neuro/topic277.htm
