I caught the pendant and couldn't place where I had seen it before. Now that you mention it I do believe it is either the Haitian's or one just like it. The Haitian being involved would explain Peter's amnesia. Wonder if his healing factor would have any effect on amnesia.

Well, perhaps some of their past deeds involved assassinations, and this was a calling card they would use. So they know what it means, but not who's doing it.

what's really interesting is on the heroes wiki, (did a search relating to the helix symbol) is on the copy of the map in Sylar's Apt, there were many pics of people with the symbol drawn over them similar to the ones given to Mr. Nakamura, and Mrs. Peterelli, only the symbol was drawn in black, not red.

What else to notice is that Molly's drawings of the "boogy man" all had the symbol drawn between his eyes.
