I tried to get into it. Too weird for me. And I'm a Brazil fan.

BBC did an adaption years ago into a series, which I could not get into and there was some seriously good bits of casting but couldn't over come what was a bad script. I read the book earlier this year and thought it was brilliant but can completely understand why the series script was that good. Great story but not an easy one.

I really liked the miniseries. Having Jonathan Rhys Meyers to look at made it even better!

Tried reading the book, but it was a little tedious for me... *ducks at book being thrown at head* Sorry!

Patsy: When you were two years old, we tied you to the central reservation of a motorway.

Edina: But you were like a homing pidgeon, sweetie....back within a week!

Well, wouldn't you know it?

I used to have the most brilliant picture of Gormenghast, done by that bloke wot did the designs for Lord of the Rings (Alan something) You needed a magnifying glass for the detail. Beautiful cats.

I saw Gormenghast on BBC America several years ago. It was a good yarn, a good production, and well acted. I never read the books, however.
