Some of the Faith faces in her first issue were a little rushed, it seems. Too much droop in the eyes and mouth. Giles had a more consistant look to him IMO.

I haven't been that impressed by jo chen's covers... they do have bits that are brilliant and faultless but they're just bits, and then right next to the good bit they'll be something dreadful that really jars... it's too cut 'n' pasted. the somnambulist said further up about the faith one that it looked like the face had been traced and the rest was an afterthought and I think that's spot on. same with a couple of the buffy ones, the head and body just don't seem to belong to each other. actually they reminded me of those pictures you see on the web where someone has grafted sarah michelle geller's head on to some pornstar body and is passing it off as real 
which leads me on to the #7 cover, I don't have a problem with the nudity in #8 but I completely have a problem with faith's figure in that one with giles, this isn't some fantasy made up character (ok that souds wrong, but you know what I mean 
) it's supposed to be based on a real character played by a real actress who's beautiful and sexy and they go and stick her with ugly, superfake, blow-up hooters. imagine fighting evil with those things flapping around? I don't think so...
I'm also reminded of something that I think was in the introduction to fray (or it was something joss said about fray) that he was tired of the girls in comics being unrealistic, massive-breasted clones... what happened dude?
I'm not saying that the comics should be super-realistic, I know it's a different thing, a different medium, and some charicaturing is inevitable but I still want our characters to look like our characters, and not like their heads have been stuck on a generic body
