( sorry if this idea has been done to death, but I've not seen it asked quite this way yet )

....afterwards, you can 'wake up' in any Sci Fi story plot you want. Which would you choose ? Sorta a cross between Westworld and The Matrix, but here's the catch. You can only come in on a story line that has, to date, already been created. You couldn't, for example, go back and somehow save Obi Wan Kenobi from his duel with Darth Vader, or pull Wash out of the pilots chair after Serenity crash lands. So, which story line do YOU go to ?

Is it Middle Earth, after the fall of Sauron?

To a galaxy far , far away ?

I'd be jondy in Dark Angel in 2008 (and there'd be no pulse and no escape and then a few years later after more training my unit and I would go terminate Eyes Only after he bothered Manticore too much)

I thought about this post today, and it struck me just how many times this really has been covered. I hadn't thought of it before, I'll blame the heat here as my excuse. I guess I was thinking more of Westworld, and not so much like Never Ending Story.

I'm gonna say the Verse, just after the film. And before anyone decries me as a typical boring fan-girl, let me explain my reasoning.

I watch a ton of sci-fi shows. As a matter of fact, that's about all I watch on TV. And after giving a pretty thorough examination to each show, I really do think I'd enjoy that universe the most. Angel and crew would be too depressing, most of the Scoobies get on my nerves nowadays, I'd be hunted like an animal on Heroes, and I'd end up as rebound girl on Doctor Who (poor Martha ).

The world of Firefly and Serenity wouldn't be an easy one by any stretch of the term. But I think that going on the many adventures, as well as being a part of a brave and loyal crew might make up for that.

No matter how much sci-fi I watch, I guess the Verse still holds the most interest for me. Go figure.

Definitely going to have to go with Voyager after the 7th season. Well, throughout the seventh season and then after they get home. I've always wondered (and written fic about) what happened to my wonderful crew after they got home. Love those guys.
