I'm putting together a list of short, positive review excerpts of the SCEDVD. When I get a chance, I'll revise some of the guerilla marketing posters to include these reviews, and be geared specifically to promote the CE.
There will be a Browncoat's table at Dragon*Con, so it'd be extra shiny if some of the folks there would be willing to print up some flyers to hand out. D*C is HUGE, and there's always a lot of traffic around the fan table. Plus there are extra tables around the Con piled with lots of handouts that would be good to put the flyers on.
I've attended two previous Dragon*Cons and placed stacks of my FF/S mini posters there myself. There's always TONS of advertising material there and I wondered if the flyers would get noticed. I'd check back a while later and my FF/S flyers were usually almost gone, or totally gone! Which is amazing because so many other flyers were barely touched! The guerilla marketing posters do get attention, so it is worth the trouble to use them. We want to get the word out on the CE DVD as much as possible... a lot of things are riding on its success.

That's always the trick isn't it? We are so passionate about FF/S, but have to make sure that our love of the 'Verse doesn't come off sounding like some creepy religious ferver to new people.
I've found that the thing that really gets people to perk up and listen (after praising the writing, imagination, characters, etc.), is that the Firefly DVD is still a top seller on Amazon, 4 and half years after the show was cancelled... plus, Firefly is #2 on Amazon's "Sleepers & Keepers" list behind the the Star Wars Trilogy.

The above quotes are what I thought were the best, short, buzz phrases that each review offered.
The "movie review" type quotes, are just what they sound like... the closest phrases found that looked like they'd work well on a poster ad for a theatrical movie.
The "ratings given" collection are from reviews that delved more into more detail on the technical aspects of the discs. These reviews were quite positive, but didn't contain easily extracted, concise phrases that work as high impact quotes... so I decided the ratings given worked best.
Of course folks are welcome to read the articles and pull phrases that you might think work better.
As more reviews are posted, there might be additional quotes to add that could work even better... but these are a good start. Find ways to use them, they're all glowing reviews for our BDCEDVD!!!
