The new Gallup Poll shows Congress at 18% approval, with a 76% dis-approval rating.

After 9/11/01 Congress' approval rating was 85%.

Nancy....you've come a long way baby! Great job!

Keep up your demented agenda and defeatist rhetoric; soon Republicans won't even have to campaign against your agents of doom and gloom.

The more that clear-thinking, rational Americans see of the Dem's performance, the worse their numbers get. The smoke & mirrors of the Dem-Media lying lovefest is not working anymore, and they are headed for huge defeats next year...NOT that the Repubs can be trusted as leaders either by the way...they squandered their Congressional power long before Nancy & Harry were swept into office by the un-precedented media-created tidal wave of Bush bashing bitterness.

18%? The worst since Gallop started trackng Congresional approval in 1974? Why, that's worse than Bush! Lower than any presidential approval rating in history!

I'd better check this in the Washington Post. Hmmm, no mention, just a story about Bushes disapproval rating being almost as bad a Harry Truman's.

But other specialist sites confirm the Gallup poll run Aug. 13 - 16 showing the 18% approval/76%disapproval. http://www.pollingreport.com/CongJob.htm
Why no media attention - no headlines?

If you look here http://www.pollingreport.com/CongJob.htm you'll see that Congress supposedly dropped 20 points in one week. That looks to be more a statistical anomaly.

Whereas if you look here http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm you'll see Bush has had an abysmal rating for quite a long time.

The thread is about the low approval rating of congress. You took the opportunity to brush it off as a statistical anomaly and get your jab in at Bush. Nice spin Rue, slickly done.

Bush is certainly involved. This disapproval is because the public wants the dems to follow through on the platform that got them elected, and actually stop the war and give Bush and Cheney public spankings.

Throw them all out, I say!
