I'll give it a shot sab. Running OSX on a dual-core Imac. I'll download perl if I don't have it already.

Thanks! No promises that it will work since I haven't tried it on anything except my own Linux box, but I can't think of any terribly compelling reason why it shouldn't.

I'm not sure whether on OS X it's easier to work with a zip file or a tar.gz so I made both.
http://sab39.netreach.com/SiteData/flattop-trends.tar.gz
http://sab39.netreach.com/SiteData/flattop-trends.zip

Once you've unzipped/untarred it, put in each new day's worth of results by just downloading the tv_vote.txt and renaming it to follow the naming convention that the other files in the folder do.

Then open up a terminal window (I believe this is called Terminal.app on OS X), cd into the appropriate folder by typing "cd /whatever/flattop-trends/" (sorry, I don't know OS X well enough to guess what to put for the "whatever" part) and then do either:

perl trends.pl 7 10 10
or
perl trends.pl 7 40 10

The first one is for daily results, the second one for the full list which I've been doing whenever a new thread is posted. The 7 is to make it work on weekly average numbers, the second "10" is to include/bold anything that's happening in the next 10 days.

It'll spew out a whole bunch of HTML into the terminal window which you can then copy and paste into a message on here.

One gotcha: fireflyfans.net seems to like to mangle the html any time you edit a post on here, so if you edit a post containing these results, paste in a fresh copy otherwise it will all get screwed up.
