5500 to go.
Space station sighted at 1010, a few minutes ago, with the Space Shuttle one minute behind it, bright as could be. That is a first for me, very first time I've seen the SHuttle and both craft on one night.
Weird though, as I was watching the Shuttle through night vision, a bright object seemed to come off it on a thirty degree angle. A satellite crossing for sure, but don't think I wasn't Big Damn Spooked for a few seconds.
