Digg Team Members Needed
Digg-- http://www.digg.com
is a community of online articles that get "dugg" ( voted for ) that then get quite a bit of attention from mainstream media. The more "diggs" an article gets, the higher it goes up in the chain of being seen.
Sometimes it gets high enough and google news picks it up and thereby other news services see it too. We are recruiting for a team to do this for NathanNation and Browncoats more widely.
NathanNation started out as a group of Nathan Appreciator's, a core group of men and women who liked our Cap'n and as their fandom involvement grew, they wanted to do something positive and pro-active with their actions. I'm a founding member. Our efforts to promote Nathan's career morphed into a cooperative effort with two projects to do good. We're very pleased to be a part of something so positive. Martin Firrell's Hero project is hopefully world changing and the next project we do will focus on helping children.
Our focus is to "digg" articles about Browncoats and their doin's high enough that they get picked up by mainstream media. Something that's sorely lacking for us Browncoats.
It's a tool.
I'm already a member of Digg, I'm guessin' many of us are. Please join us and let's move BC news into more of the limelight.
You'd submit your name or nick and email address to a mailing list from which we'd email a bunch of folks when there was something that needed "dugg".
Also we'd accept requests to "digg" an article for you. By the whole group.
