Thanks for the info on the new T-shirt. I have ordered a number of Firefly T-shirts from Stylin' Online and I'll definitely order the new one with the whole cast on it. I also plan on picking up the new collector's edition DVD as soon as it comes out.

It is hard for me to imagine anyone who saw and enjoyed Serenity to not be aware of Firefly, but it takes all kinds to make up this crazy world.

I've been disappointed that I have never had anyone comment about either my Serenity shirt or Jayne's pinup girl shirt.

Some people have only seen the movie on HBO and paid cable channels or in the theater. If they don't get online or meet another fan. How could they know. I found one at work just this year. I was trying to give my loaner Firefly DVDs to another co-worker and this other co-worker said "hey that looks like the people from Serenity". Well, he has my Firefly DVD loaner now.

I think the Serenity Collector's DVD will help because the ship is so big on the cover. Look it is sci-fi movie with a spaceship in it...not just a movie about some woman named Serenity and her boyfriend.

Have you ever worn your shirts in a Barnes and Noble store? In my area, the employees are big Joss fans and are not shy about saying "great shirt".

I could see people not wanting to say something about Jayne's pinup girl shirt. What if they were wrong and it was another pinup girl shirt. Might be embarassing. I'd have to go home and check the DVD or the Firefly Official Companion books before I was brave enough.

I love the Serenity Cast shirt because I was worried people just thought the Serenity logo shirt meant serenity...you know like peace...love...happiness...etc.

When someone said "AWESOME SHIRT" when I was wearing the logo shirt, I always said "AWESOME MOVIE! back...just in case they didn't know.

One time when I was wearing my shirt in a convenience store, a lady commented on the Serenity on it and then asked me if I was a member
of AA?!!
I told her no, although I did know their Serenity Prayer, that this was the logo on a ship in a scifi movie. She asked me all about it and I wrote down on a napkin about Firefly and Serenity.
I will like wearing this t-shirt because they'll guess right away what it is.

I have a huge Serenity shield on the back of my truck. Recently, a snotty kid said to my wife (as she was loading up after a fortune-telling gig), "I guess you just have that because you're a fortune-teller. You probably don't even know what it means." She looked at the little snot and said, "Nathan Fillion put his arm around me."

Once when my truck was rather dusty, I walked out of my hotel room to find that someone had written, "Browncoats Unite!" in the dust by the logo.
