Sorry for yet another belated round conclusion, but here's what you probably already know, our round 22 winner!

Way to go SAB39!

Now then, it is, with heavy heart, and great regret, that I announce the next Caption Tightpants will be the last.*

However, I want to go out with a little style a little class, and, frankly to end the way I started, which is to say, I choose the winner.

What makes this more special than the special hell you ask?
Well be quiet-like and I'll tell you!

Instead of the standard "I submit a picture, you submit a (series of) caption(s)", this grand finale will have you, the wonderful players of this wonderful game, submit your own pictures with your own captions!

Now there are a few rules:
1) Only pictures related to Firefly/Serenity may be used. However they can come from ANY source. The internet, comics, a magazine, DVD's, anything.
2) No manipulated images please, no porn (regrettably). Have respect for our BDHs and their BDFs!
3) Make as many submissions as you like.
4) Post them in this thread! Don't ruttin' wave me with them!
5) This contest will run through Sept. 4th, any submission after the 4th is welcome but not eligible to win.
6) "You said 'win' TCM, what do I win?" Again with the jabber! Listen up! As you all know, I have a Cafe Press store that heavily promotes Firefly and its fandom, soooo, you guessed it! The winner, as decided by me, will get one item, of their choosing, from my site. You may begin the abject worship...I mean captioning!

*Caption Tightpants may return if one of the following conditions are met: A Serenity movie sequel, Firefly returns to television (not on FOX), Joss Whedon begs me personally to continue it, Christina Hendricks becomes my personal love slave, the Special Hell freezes over, I win the lottery and never have to work again, my wife wins the lottery and I never have to work again, someone starts a TCM foundation where all donations go to me and the furthering of my greatness, a black market beagle asks me for directions to Miranda, Reavers invade Washington D.C. and consume every politician to the last, or lemurs become the dominant species on Earth.

Wow, I won the very last democratically-elected Caption Tightpants. I'm really very deeply moved. And thank you for all the entertainment over the months/years.

So now I'll deeply move myself to submit an entry in this one. My image of choice is within the rules of the contest, I think, but still would be NSFW in full size so I'm just using the thumbnail...

I can't believe that it's ending. I'm gonna miss Caption Tightpants. :( It's an institution. Here's hoping that ALL of the above conditions are met! :) This is an innovative end to the series TCM. I like this new format!
