Don't feel too silly; the threads move so fast it can be tough to keep up. And I think we're the only board on teh intarwebs that doesn't split the threads into pages so that anyone can load them and so have to keep starting new ones...
Yus! Mean business I do!
This one should really be on the hands and feet thread, but I think I was the last one to post on that one, and I don't much like having two posts in a row, so...

Aloe is your friend. My prefered treatment for sunburn is chilled aloe juice. It feels sooooo good when it's all cold and it soaks in easily. And you can soak a little towel in it and lay it over your back.![]()

What is this "tropical libidocane"? Is it legal in the states? Of course I mean non-Utah states...

Thanks for the suggestions, ladies!
Yes, Aloe is my friend. Unfortuantely I'm at work today, so I get little chance to apply to my back, but my face is getting it in spades. It absorbs so fast, you'd think it was rubbing alcohol in direct sunlight...lol
I may end up going home early today though. I would've called-in, but had some major work that needed to be done today. I'm feeling dehydrated, and that's never a good thing. Drinking gallons of water though, so I'm sure I'll pull through.

Let's hope so! We gotta see your "I'm okay now" pic...

I suffered from heat exhaustion once while in boot camp. Ever since I've kinda had troubles with prolonged sun exposure. Of course, my mom would say it's the fair-skinned Irish in me, but until boot camp, I've never suffered so bad.
My biggest problem is that I never gauge my time in the sun right, and always forget the sunblock. One would think I've learned by now.

There you have it. The Irish should never be trained how to fight: just wind 'em up and let 'em go!
I never expect to be outside as long as I end up being. I don't need no stinkin'--what did you call it again?--sunblock, I'm just going to do this one thing...
*JQ has bandana on his bald head today though folks*
Going outside for to clean my weapons for the first and possilby only JonnyQuest dressup party for one. Coming soon to a Picture thread near you. This collection has not yet been rated. Back later.
