Hugs to CK.

Okay, been awhile since anyone posted pictures...

These have a story to them. It might seem an odd story, but I've felt the urge to share it lately, and plus without it the grainy pictures will not make any sense...

This is my Memory Skirt. When I got it, it seemed boring, so I added some patches of bright thread to it. As I did so, it occured to me to attempt some rough embroidery, and so I did; symbols of people who meant something to me. It wasn't the best embroidery ever, but it worked, and I had a lot of fun with it.
So, many of the people who were symbols on my skirt kinda ditched out on me. I surrounded what I had for them in blood red and didn't wear the skirt anymore. I didn't think of it for a few years, until someone else who had a symbol left me, and two people who deserved a symbol came into my life. When one of them also left me, I stopped working on it again. I didn't think of it for another year, until very recently. I've been updating it again, because so many Browncoats are important to me, and should be represented on it. I've had trouble coming up with something for everyone, but I'm working on it.
Some of the things on it are random, but most mean something. I know, you can't really see details in the pics. Sorry about that. But there it is, and that's my story.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

That is like one of the coolest f**king things I've ever heard! Not the leaving part but the embroidering symbols part. You continue to amaze.

Thanks, Jonny

Managed to get this detail shot of the most recent design. Well, the majority of it, anyway; can't really see the little touches to it in detail, but the overall shape is recognizable

If there ever came a time that I rated to be remembered, you could embroider a little tiny lightsaber on there!

Just my 2 cents...you know, if and when I ever rate the honor.

Edit: oh and I forgot to say, an awesome idea. It really is a nice piece of work, PR.

That seriously just put the biggest smile on my face. What a great idea! There is just no end to your wonderfully creative mind. Makes me more and more sad I won't get to meet ya come this Sept.

Well, I think y'all knew this was coming sooner or later. The other day I went grocery shopping and looky what I picked up...

This was just for fun...

Oh, and one more reason to officially label me as a clutz. I had an argument with a shopping cart...

ow poor Roxy sweety...HUGS you're not clutzy you're just too creative in your movements for solid 3 dimensional objects ( sigh I am so sad you won't be with us)

Rose- that is truly the coolest idea I have ever ever heard...Do you use an embroidery hoop? The Magda detail looks like a satin stitch with a twist...you so rock. I shall have to bring my embriodery hoop ( well I would anyway for the boring plane ride)and we can compare techniques
