Morning all...I feel like I have returned from exile... How are you all this morning
Mav- I am willing your phone to ring with all I have sweety ...oh and Happy Anniversary!
OK weekend was alternating between great and horrible...Thursday was fieldtrip + late night tutor and I didn't get home until 11pm
Friday- great as I went out to my parents and played with new baby and sis and Wyatt and had a ball....then horrible as on our way home the compressor on MisterG's car blew out and it will cost $1000 ( which is exactly what I had set aside for D*C so I was gonna have to cancel)
Saturday- just worked on laundry and house cleaning etc...sucky
Sunday- Great!! I went to celebrate baby sis's birthday and got a 3rd job so I will be able to make the money I need to go to D*C so I am GOING!!!
Anyway, what are we pondering?

Do you have a ponder to suggest?
Mav is on her 13th, I'm soon to be on 20th. How about you and MrG?
Edit: Oh and when I'm asked how long I've been married I always say something like "twenty years, twenty-five if you factor in the wind chill..." *snort*

A 3rd job??? Holy Hannah. You are going to be wiped out!
I can't even get a 1st job...

for sticking with your plan. I know RIMG & Magda would be heartbroken if you had to cancel. Quote:

And I thought 2 was bad. What's the third?
In about 3 weeks it'll be 18 for MsQ and me. Wowie. Kudos to FlyVote and Mrs. FlyVote. These days it's an accomplishment. (Not saying 13 ain't a big deal. I think if you hit 10, you can call it a done deal. Everything after that is just victory laps. Till your tires go bald and you run out of gas.

I was freaking out all weekend...the job won't be too taxing ( I hope) but I just couldn't bear to miss out on D*C and not get to see Magda and everyone...
HUGS Mav you'll find something
I've been married 11 years
My ponder...would you rather know the outcome of a movie or book before you read it or be surprised?
I prefer to read the last chapter or have someone tell me what happens in th emovie..that way if it's going to make me unhappy or such like I can avoid it.

Oh my God! A page taken right out of the MsQ book of how to read books!
Not me. Good, bad or ugly, the surprise--if there is one--is part of the experience. I want to feel the impact as it was intended, more or less, by the author. If I know what's coming, the kick in the gut I might be in for at the end can't help but be diminished somehow. IMO.
But I'm a writer: I want to manipulate you. I want to be in control of your reading experience. So there you go.

You have chosen correctly. Heck for movies I really want to see I won't even watch the previews. Cause if I know there was something in the previews that still hasn't happened then I know who has to live until that scene. Ruins all the suspense.

Suspense sucks...it's too upsetting...I'd rather know. I can enjoy the journey more if I already know the outcome. :)
