I'm not big on knowing the ending before hand. Getting there is half the fun in my mind.
Okay, here's an imponderable: why do hot dogs come in packages of eight and hot dog buns come in packages of ten?

Thanks, deepgirl. Husband & I have had ups and downs. We're pretty happy to have made it to 13 years. If I could just get a decent job, thing's been pretty darn rosy!
I'm convinced the hotdog/bun problem stems from the Oscar Mayer cartel. They've been controlling things behind the scenes for years.

If you watch the movie without knowing what's going to happen and it ends "unsuitably", after a few months you watch it again all the way up to the objectionable part and switch it off you you can make up your own happy ending in your head and the movie is finally deemed "acceptable".

No I just avoid the movie/book entirely...unless I'm already sucked into the series...like Harry Potter ( in case it turns out Snape is a bad guy which will break my heart...I will still read it)
