This could be the worst thread in the history of threads, but upon rewatching Season Seven I took a little time and considered the Potentials with less hatred second time around. And wondered if any of them had what it took to be a Slayer worth following in the future.

Sadly the one I thought had potential, pardon the irony, was MOLLY, but she was brutally killed off by Caleb in the 3rd to last episode... So the only other one who stood out for me as NOT being annoying was the Chinese girl. Can't remember her name though.

Least favoured potential for future viewing would be Kennedy.

Kennedy was probably my favourite potential slayer, because she was the most explored and developed. I liked her but I didn't like how the relationship between her and Willow was handled- It seemed way too soon and not very fitting.

It's almost impossible to distinguish a least favourite character amonst the rest of them, because I'm indifferent towards them anyway.I also felt that they had little personality.

The whole storyline had potential (no pun intended), but was not very well handled and misused.

My favourite was Kennedy, but Cho-Ann was definitely the funniest. When Giles terrorized her with the flashcards I was on the floor.

My least favourite was the whiney one- I forget her name...

My favorite was...I can't remember her name, the girl they discover in "Potential", when dawn think's she's one but it's actually that other girl, yea forgot her name, but I liked her.

and yea, no contest, kennedy is by far my least favorite, if not most hated of the potentials, quite possibly my most hated character in all of Joss' work. It's mostly the relationship that willow that brings on this hatred, it feels like a betrayal to tara, yea i realize that willow had to move on at some point, but not so soon, and not with her.

"Haha, mine is an evil laugh."

That would be Amanda. She was funny. Would have been great if a spin-off could exsist and they'd choose someone with her quirk.

In terms of Willow and Kennedy it was a bit of a leap their relationship, given that just a few months prior Willow was so distraught she was after destroying the world.

Still it made good TV.

U = -GMm/r.

That’s always been my favorite potential. It just pulls me towards it.

Yeah. I never watched Buffy S7.

Favorite...Chao An and Amanda, though both are dead. Vi was annoying, but she made up for it in the end (by going all Mal-like) so I think she'll end up being my favorite living Potential.

Least Favorite...Kennedy, though I think it should go without saying by now. We all know why we hate her. It's not about Tara so much that she's an brat who thinks she's the shit for no good reason that I can see. (I realize Buffy also thinks she's the shit on occasion, but at least she's got several years of experience to back it up). Willow deserves better. Rona is runner-up for being such a bitch about Buffy near the end. I understand she was on edge but that "Ding dong the bitch is dead" line after Buffy was kicked out of her own house is something I'm never getting past.

You might be pleasantly surprised. It was a good ending to the show IMO, irritating Potentials notwithstanding.

See it for the flashcard scene Chrisisall
