I think their current and recent exposure will be beneficial if Universal or someone else decides to make a sequel.

Hugh Jackman seems like a good choice, he seems like the kind of guy that will take a chance with a pay cut for a special project, and before you all responed, yes i am intead all kinds of crazy

but there are cases where big stars do take a risk on movies that they feel are worth a little risk or even contribute money in a project. It could happen, but im crazy so dont listen to me

And he was considered to be a rising star, at least in Europe, so they got away with it, but barely.

It's not essential, but a sad fact of the business is that it might be worth considering more seriously by the production team if another BDM goes ahead. Though Whedon and crew got away with it with casting the Operative, the might have their hands tied considering the preformance of the first BDM at the box office. I agree that someone like Christian Bale might push the budget a bit, but it's not impossible to find preformers willing to take part in a project for a cut in their salary.

What roles would you imagine for certain preformers in a BDM? Personally, I think the key is going with well-know character actor types. Imagine Christopher Walken as a smarmy Alliance commander... Paul Giamatti as a weasly Badger-type businessman... or Christopher Lee as a ruthless, corrupt magistrate... the mind boggles!
