Older and Far Away. An absolute howler if ever there was one.

As soon as I saw this forum topic that episode came to mind...

'Beer Bad' and 'Doublemeat Palace' seem to be the worst rating episodes of Buffy (not specifically on this forum). While they aren't great, they're not so terrible. 'Beer Bad' had its moments.

Buffy vs. Dracula.

Beer Bad would probably get my vote, but at least at that point, the non-caveman characters were being normal and BtVS-like. BvD, however... blah. The dialogue made me cringe, and the characters made me cringe, and... blah. I've already enumerated my issues with season 5 elsewhere, but I think this episode pretty much epitomizes everything that was wrong with the 21 episodes to come (with the exceptions which, again, I've noted elsewhere).

HONKS

That's the thing about Buffy (and Angel and probably Firefly if it had gone on), even in the bad episodes there is something to like as people have stated.

Anne is one of my favourites. Love the bit where she looks up and says "I'm Buffy, and you are?"

Ted was great up until you found he was a robot. I really thought she'd killed a human and they were going to explore that. Especially as it was John Ritter who I remember play nice guys.
Oddly enough I like I Was Made To Love You, although for a start I thought April was a really bad actress until I realized what she was!!

Bad Eggs was terrible but wasn't there some kind of great joke at the end?? Can't remember.

Beer Bad had the Willow/Parker confrontation.

I'm not keen on the one where Riley returns, but again it has the trading stories bit where Buffy asks if he died. He says no and she says that she wins.

I think that my worst would have to be the one where Buffy and Riley have all the sex and the house is haunted or something. The house that just happens to reside over the Initiative. Yeah right.

The finale was amazing!!! I loved ANGEL's ending too, though I'm glad there will definitely be a season 6 (in comic form-) so we can finally find out what happened to everyone.

Curious the most about Gunn, and if the original plans for him in the tv movies that didn't happen will be followed through with in the comics.

If you haven't heard or didn't know, this was the original plan for Gunn in the tv movies:

Select to view spoiler:

He would've been turned into a vampire and become a villain.

Hard to pick...
Doublemeat Palace certainly rates up (down?) there...

As to ones other people have mentioned -
Beer Bad & The Zeppo had so many funny moments, how can you hate them?

I know where you are coming from, but, for me, the finale is way too epic. it needs to be subtle. And i am not glad that they are doing a comic because i think what happens to the characters is clear. Its about the way you look at it. The whole point about the Angel finale is that what happens, how or when doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that they fought, not who won. Baring in mind that the last episode of Angel is Called "Not Fade Away". To be honest, though i think that they all die.

Illyria: You're fading. I give you minutes at best.
Gunn: Then let's make 'em memorable.
