I think a big reason for why he gets to me is that he reminds me of my dad. My dad is JUST LIKE HIM! I can't even say "to a lesser extent", because he believes and theorizes about the same crap as PN. I guess it just makes it more personal to me than it should be.

So you really think it's not worth investigating this guys father in law as a potential infection vector given the circumstances ?

Oh, wait, yeah, you're a prosecutor for the state, which hands you a verdict on a platter anyway via jury manipulation, violation of the discovery process and selective evidence handling.

Nevermind, you wouldn't know what an investigation even is, my bad.

I didn't say that. I'd say its possible that the father-in-law is a "vector", its either a big coincidence or its not. But I don't see an evil plot here, just unfortunate circumstances and a lot of bad judgement by this poor fellow and a lot of other folk including in the government.

Yeah, all the guilty say that. You think its that easy? Convicting a guilty fellow is easy, but convicting an inncent...now that takes work.

Why sometimes after a long day manipulating juries and denying due process I can barely find the strength to get in my new car and drive home to my big new house and have sex with my hot girlfriend.
