Jayne with a Cockney accent, what a great idea.
I didn't think Joss' portrayal of British people such as Giles and Wesley was woeful. They started off very uptight and reserved but a bit of character development soon gave them some human warmth.

Guys the jokes about different styles of television, differences in series structure and so on are all cool, but why the stereotyped cultural shit? It's bloody unnecessary.
They may think their sins are original, but for the most part they are petty and repetitive.

Grizwald, you're the shinyest. I was just telling my mom Chris Eccleston would so rock in Firefly (or for that matter, anything Joss related). And a naked bum would be nice. Between him and Nathan, there'd be almost too much droolyness (is that a word?).

Yanno, Ewan Macgregor as Mal and Jude Law as Simon could actually work pretty well. Think of the dialogue between the characters in 'Safe', I think it would work with them.

Because it's funny? I thought one of the plus points of the stereotypical British person is the self-deprecating humour. Didn't mean to offend anyone.
Anyway, Giles reminded me quite a lot of my uncle in his speech and mannerisms so I found his character interesting.
I agree with Judi Dench for Patience. Not only does she look the part but I could imagine her running her own little moon.

I'm all in favour of taking the piss out of myself, but taking the piss out of something I'm not doesn't really come under self-deprecating. It's odd actually, I'm normally not very sensitive to this kind of thing, frequently the first to make jokes about Scottish or 'British' stereotypes, but I guess the difference, at the end of the day (and much as I don't like admitting it) is that it's me doing it.

David Tennant could play a different kind of Doctor. As far as Early goes, perhaps Adrian Lester? And Monty could be Robbie Coltrane((Yeah I know, He's a Scott)). Saffron could be portrayed by Keira Knightley. Niska could be Sir Ian McKellen. I don't know about the rest of the crew, but I think it's better the way it was cast.
