Well it is a comic book series. I think those are required by law to include at least one retcon.
Of course it may not neccesarilly require a full retcon - a fanwank could do for the only full continuity issue. On the other hand you can look at the first post for my most immediate reaction to the developement.David

I just went to Things From Another World ,to see if I could pre-order the next 2 comics & all I saw was the Buffy omnibus coming soon.
Does anyone know when the comics are going to be coming out ?

LA: Sorry forgot to reply about the Soap Opera Weekly mention. Nope, didn't see it. Kinda couldn't afford them for a couple of weeks. Sure he was yummy though!
Don't think I'll ever be completely over the whole Buffy/Angel soulmate thing, as much as I'd like to think I am. I really do want Buffy to be with and love Xander, especially since there's no happy future with a vampire.
Or it'd just look really weird. Kinda like the Anna Nicole Smith/really-old-guy, but in reverse-weird.
Then again, the idea of her meeting or finding out about Connor (the child she couldn't have with Angel) would definitely be something I'd want to see. Can you say 'awkward'?
