The MSNBC story lied about the findings of the House Select Committee on Assassinations, which officially confirmed multiple shooters, but claimed two lone nuts coincidentally fired at the exact same moment. They also declared that Martin Luther King was killed by the FBI. The chairman told Mark Lane that the FBI would kill him if he reported the whole truth (Lane's book Plausible Denial was about his victory in court proving E Howard Hunt was one of the trumps arrested in Dealy Plaza for killing JFK).
