They talk about reperfusion of heart muscle but not about the brain. "actually looked at oxygen-starved heart cells under a microscope", "Blood-starved heart muscle is suddenly flooded with oxygen", "keep the heart in a state of suspended animation ... to maintain circulation to the brain until the heart could be safely restarted"
They don't explain what they do about brain death and reperfusion. This is interesting though.
