What 'inside jokes' for current fans would you like to see in the movie?

Crazy Ivan wasn't coined by Firefly. It is the term used to describe in general, Soviet submariners and in specific, the turning a ship 180 degrees and has been around since the early days of the cold war.
One example of it being used in modern cinema is in "The Hunt for Red October" when Jack Ryan is trying to convince the American sub captain that he understands the Russian Captain. He tells him that 'at the top of the hour, he'll do a Crazy Ivan'.

Uhhh I was referring to the Mission of the Sturgeon class attack submarine USS Lapon SSN 661 when it trailed the newest Russian submarine the Yankee I class SSBN thou out its entire patrol (about 40 Days!). A newspaper leaked out that the Russian sub was not a quiet as believed (which was untrue) and the Russians learned of it and informed all its SSBNs that they maybe being trailed. The Yankee Lapon was trailing reversed course at high speed (due to its high speed it failed to detect Lapon) which spawned the term "Crazy Ivan" along with some songs written by Tommy Cox a sailor on the Lapon.
BTW it was the bottom of the hour that Ramus turned to Starboard.

You know in Heart of Gold when Nandi says a true companion never stops practicing?
Shot of Inara playing some instrument (like the shamisen or harp or something incredibly femenine. But she's playing "The Hero of Canton". Although she had no way of hearing that song in Jaynestown, it would be a nice shout out to fans.

Oh don't worry. Joss is an expert when it comes to subtle jokes directed only at several people. Any die-hard Angel fans seen this season of Angel? It's full of references and jokes that only the people who have seen earlier episodes would get. I have faith in Joss to do this.

I particularly like Inara playing Hero of Canton, the big red button, and there MUST be something about dinosaurs, maybe a This Land or an inevitable betrayal. I like the idea of River acting out a conversation with dinosaurs and muttering to herself.
