I totally agree with you; it's quite the fascist goose stepping around here if you do not fall in line. If you listen closely enough you can here them in the distance chanting "Achtung Juden" as if I were Buffy or something.

Sorry- I agree with Molly on this one. Its not funny at all when animals or humans die in a fire. Nor is it funny when Fireman-who work hard and get paid crap,get hurt as well. I don't care if "WASPS" prefer animals rather then to humans- Thats not the issue here. The issue is- if the article as a whole is funny. And is it wrong that you find it funny.

I clicked your link before reading any posts generally looking for something funny. You started the thread so you get the response.
What part was funny, defenseless animals dieing or civil servants doing a dangerous job? At a minimum shouldn't a burning building be put out to protect the neighboring buildings and mitigate loss to the Owner.
Even if you aren't a pet person (which I'm not), you have to acknowledge all animals have a fear and flee response. It's hard to believe the terror dozens of animals went through has no value in your perspective which is what your post implies.

I wasn't sure if it's wrong or right to find that article funny. Just looking for feedback on the question, that's all. I was clubbing some baby seals over the weekend and while taking a break I saw the article and found it quite funny.
