Quick story about getting Season 8 comic

I went at 11:30 (half hour after they opened) to my local Newberry Comics to get the comic. I went to where they normally are and the shelf that read "new this week" was bare. I looked at the old comics thinking maybe it had gotten mixed in: Nothing. I saw a guy looking at some of the comics too, a rather burly guy and in the back of my head I thought hmm maybe he's here for buffy too. Right as I was about to leave I saw a girl come toward me with two boxes. She began to stock the shelf and I waited anxiously to see what I had come to purchase. I noticed the other guy looking in too. The second the girl put buffy on the rack we both simultaniously lunged for the first one we could grab. It made me smile that this guy who I wouldn't have thought would be a buffy fan, much less one willing to get there a half hour after the place oppened just to get the comic. I would have talked to the guy about it had I not already been 45 minutes late to a meeting...maybe I'll see him next month...

Great story--I love hearing about all the different types of BUFFY fans out there!!!

I got my copy today. Got chills, it was so good! Can't wait until LittleAlbatross gets hers...we have plans for a second Snoopy dance!!
