I vote for bad tempers all 'round :) with Mal stomping around and glaring, and with her tiredness, and the half-drunk-ape-man-gone-wrong thing... Inara's --let me offer a quote from Geezer, I believe-- "is running short on the milk of human kindness"?

I'd love to be able to write an ANGRY scene for her--never really done that before--gee, I hope she doesn't get angry at Zoe! That woman can snap her like a twig!

Sure, come along. I'd look forward to the interaction between Slight and Merz. In fact. . .

Slight has just regained his humanity, but he still has a bit of a superiourity complex because of the upgrades. perhaps, because of Merz's immunity, she doesn't see the red eyes that Slight has. Maybe we can even have a HoG moment, Slight falls in love and dies (I'm so twisted). Although (hush, big secret) I might have him return on a later date. The thing I haven't mentioned is that he is much older than everyone else not because he was born sooner, but because he has a major healing factor that accelerates his aging process. It's so accelerated it will actually reverse, and a Merlin sickness will occur when he dies. Also, directors, the way he shall die that I hand in mind is he's mentioned a "secret weapon" in his pocket. It's the blue stick seen in action in Ariel. but without the blue gloves to protect him from the effects, he'll die right along with everyone else, and come back to life growing down, so to speak.

Hush-hush.

Okay, finally posted for Zoe... Sorry for the delay - RL is definitely kicking my booty! Should settle a little bit very soon, though (I hope! )

Anyway, I'm thinking Zoe's actions fit the emotions swirling around everyone for the last little while - eventually even Zoe had to get fed up.

I suspect SerenitysSon will want Jayne to have a few choice words for Zoe, so I left the post open-ended.

Squee: Just as an aside, Zoe hasn't given up Damon's gun since she took it. It was still tucked into her belt the last time I checked. (Never even handed it to Mal, in his foul mood.) Might be Damon's found one of Jayne's guns "laying around".
