Hey I'm new to the fireflyfans.net only because I have a confession to make. I just watched the entire Firefly series for the first time. Yes, I know how can this be you are thinking, it defies the laws of the universe. Well, on the flip side I am pretty lucky to just now see and ENJOY it for the first time. I fell in love with it then came the last episode thinking it was going to be a season finally or something and that was it. I said to my self ok there must be a 5th disc that I didnt add to my que on Netflix. Nope. What the hell, what a drop the ball kick in the head type of thinking was this by fox. I am like a addicted to something inivisable that I can't get my fix no more. Is anyone listening is anybody out there this is a travisty. So I sat dumb founded and confused behind my computer looking for the 5th and ever elusive disc that I must have overlooked, because that could be the only logical explanation. Then, there it was, no not the 5th disc but A FREAKING MOVIE CALLED SERENITY!! I was doing a very bad version of the cabbage patch in my dining room. Yes, it is true I am a fan and have never seen the movie. So go ahead poke fun at me I don't care but I still have one up on all you fly heads. I have yet to see the Movie Serenity for the first time. What a lucky bastard i must be or what a retard I must be for posting all this nonsence on a thread that has nothing to do with this. So ill fix that

'Tis shiney. Somehow I'm slightly envious of you. Oh to be so new to the 'verse again. Been over a year now and I've seen every episode and Serenity so many times I don't even need to watch them anymore. I can replay everything in my head without use of a screen.

Hey all...Been really busy at work lately. Then this past couple of weeks have been my spring break. So I've been trying to get to that novel thing called "boredom" and enjoying the relative freedom. Next week, the craziness starts again.
Barbot! Round of drinks for the folks here (and the missing regulars too) and a glass of port for me please.
*sits and enjoys the atmosphere for a while, slowly sipping and savoring the glass of port before having to disappear back into the insanity of work*
(1) I'm showing my age...Jolt cola -- "All the caffeine and twice the sugar." A can (or a bottle) of that usually took me all day to drink.
(2) jook in Chinese -- a sorta rice porridge-like soup, usually served with various toppings. It's Asia's version of chicken noodle soup for a flu/cold.
(3) Yep, I actually spent a whole day cooking (boiling/simmering/whatever) soup, then pureed the veggies in it.
(Hopefully the third time is a charm...I tried posting earlier before, but the gorramn internut had it for lunch.)
