He was still alive as of yesterday; he sent me a text message. He's been busy; it's the end of fire season and they've also had flooding (yes, firefighters deal with flooding, too) on top of the World Police and Fire Games, which I think just ended a few days ago. I haven't gotten to talk to him properly for at least a week.

Welcome to FFF.net. We are a friendly group here. There are lots of screenings of Serenity coming up around the world on June 23rd. It's Joss Whedon's birthday, and the money from the shows go to Equality Now his favorite charity. I know it's a couple of months off, but it's great to see Serenity on the big screen.
