Okay, thought of a couple more.

"How drunk was I last night?"
"I don't know, I passed out."

"Lil Kaylee is always one man short."

"Yeah 'cause sick people are hi-larious"

"All I got was a dumb*** stick sounds like it's rainin', how come you gotta wife?"

Something like that anyway.

My tag line is my favorite. It tells of the inner Jayne and how he has trouble expressing his feelings amonst his fellow crew members. Yes, there are more levels to Jayne than anyone realizes, and this one quote, this one statement, allows us insight to the depth of Jayne's humanity.

I call her "Vera"

Alright from an early part of that episode:

"I'll treasure it always." And then he hugs that old guy! LOL I thought it was funny anyway. My other favorite Jayne part really isn't so much of a qoute as an interaction between Jayne and River.

At the end of Safe she just reaches over all slow like and grabs his roll right off his plate. Jayne's like 'hey' and then he grabs for another one even though he probably could have gotten that one out of her hands...

I am so glad someone else saw that besides me and my betrothed!

While I was home on leave, she and I would snuggle on the couch in front of a roaring fire and watch two or three episodes because she wanted this amazing thing that is so much more than just a TV show to become a part of HER life as well. She caught the 'bread-grabbing' scene and replayed it for me to see. The way she described it was as follows:

"It's like... Jayne sometimes 'forgets' that he's supposed to be all mean, tough and scary, and he acts like a real person."

"Wash. . .we got some local color happening. A grand entrance would not go amiss."

Ohhh, that's so sweet. You said, 'betrothed'. Now, I'm gonna cry :) I'm baking cookies this weekend. Yeah, I've been busy. :)
I think Jayne mutters, "nice" when River steals the roll. It's a cute scene.
