We see it all the time. Folks start in on the board and we know nothing of them. So after they post "How old are you?" and "Male or female?" threads they move to posting in the photo threads. I would think it'd be easy to supply enough info on out profile pages but alas, aome of y'all are just as lazy as me. That's cool. Any noobs that catch this thread pop in and give us your stats. As Citizen noted on the Tag with me, there might be some confusion and something as enjoyable as apple pie might be ruined forever.

Just let us know how far we can go. I'd hate to corrupt a poor unsuspecting noob and turn them off to the board forever.

Well, I'm a new...new person... >.> I joined maybe last April/May and only posted once or twice or so--big 'ol lurker! (Heh, I'm such a hypocrite--I hate lurkers too)

But I decided recently, with a new determination to actually be apart of the community & make a mark, that a new name would be nifty too ^_^ Yay for change! I've been a fan of Firefly since last April--I remember this because that was when I had finals and I remember totally blowing off studying to finish the fourth disk .

I actually post at another board completely unfirefly related called fantasyessentials.net which is why my avatars will have "Faith_Rahl" in them... Rahl is from a Terry Goodkind series and that is the sister site that came out of the official one. Plus, people were getting a bit crazy over there, so the cool people were kicked out, and voila. Lots of Firefly fans there but they aren't as passionate about it as me. But I've been acting as an fff.net ambassador for awhile there :)

Anywho, what do ya wanna know 'bout us newbs? ;)

I've been here about three weeks now and done the formal introduction. Go a nice virtual Brown Coat from the Queen of Coats herself and some Strawb's off Bun'. Here's some stat's so you can all get to know and love me better.

Age - 31
Lives in - Southampton UK
Married and kids - Yes and no.
Found Firefly/Serenity? - Late 2006 (better late than never).
CaptainCoupi? What’s that name about? - Nickname from work. No, I'm not a real Captain.
Works for? - A big evil Bank. Really, once I find an excuse to quit that job all my money will be kept in a shoe box under my bed.
Looks like - A slimmer version of Monty from Trash. So 'chubby and hairy' would be appropriate.
Aims in life - Be happy, get out of debt, emigrate to Canada, (lots of family over there), win the lottery and totally finance Firefly season two off my own back.

CaptaimnCoupi seems to have itemized in a very good way. Most of the pretinent info was included with his post. It ususally takes months to find all that ut from folks.

FLP, thanks for acting as emissary for us. I too lurked for several months before posting. It was actually the Imponderables thread that got me started.

Aims in life: remembering to vote every hour for firefly as best tv show ever...(OCD..obsessive compulsive disorder..**sigh** may as well put it to good use); winning the lottery to fund at LEAST another season of Firefly!!
