I've missed all my old buds here, I hardly know anyone anymore. Which is great for Firefly, don't get me wrong. The more the merrier in that respect. I just miss the people who get my jokes and actually respond to my posts!
I'd still like to know who it is you are with. I don't think it really is ChrisIsAll. He'd be WAY more gloat-y.

It was wonderful to see this thread resurrected. It is fun to make the 'Firefly connection' in your everyday life, stops getting so lonely out here on the rim.
Also, pardon my peeping but to see the friendships that this sight has fostered and they are still there. Brought a tear to the eye.

Well...my most recent Firefly moment was walking through a staff parking lot at school, glancing over at the cars nearby...and seeing a white Sunfire with the licence plate "INARA M." Which made me think "Oooh...so close to being truly stupendous. And I don't have a camera with me...poo

You know, I've driver through Canton NC quite a few times.
And, not to offend people who live there or anything...but it really stinks.
As for who I'm with, I should probably wait until she admits to it. Though just lately she's gotten a little angry about some things some people have been saying on this site and decided to take a break for a while.
I miss her a lot, though. Would've been great if I could have fit her in a duffle bag and brought her along.
I don't know how she would've felt about it though.

Since she probably won't tell you herself (cause she hasn't been around here in awhile) it's ThatWeirdGirl.
Now, I'm sure this raises some questions, but, most of the answers are some I'd rather not give in public.
I love her though. She seems to be happy too. I can't speak for her, of course, but that's how it seems.
And, she makes me happy too.

I've discovered it's possible to have a Firefly moment even when enjoying a different genre of fiction. I was (re)reading a Harry Potter book the other day when I was struck by an insight about the Pax, which I may write up in a different thread at some point.
