Great stuff MAII & the NASA Browncoats And kudos to the crew member who's taking them up there. Are the DVDs on permanent loan to the ISS ?

Any chance of a promo photo being posted after the DVDs get there ? Say a crew member holding the DVD cases with an Earth backdrop ?

We got NASA Browncoats! I'm impressed. Did you really just stage that moon landing thing? Come on, you can tell me...
But seriously, I didn't know we got NASA Browncoats, and I think it rocks that we do.

well when the show aired there were about 4 of us, but when the dvd's came out we converted branches at a time. we have flight directors, astronauts, flight controllers, division chiefs and others now. for the Serenity premiere there were I think 100 who all went together.

well due to hail damage to the external tank, the mission is being delayed until April 22nd so that the stack can be rolled back to the VAB for assessment and repairs.

Now we know why those guys in mission control are always looking so intently at their monitors, they are watching Firefly/Serenity.

Hail damage, right... some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose? You really oughta check the returning ships for terrifying space monkeys. Just a friendly advice.

MAIII
Thanks for the update on the shuttle lift date; I caught a clip this morning on NPR (but not all of it) and that was the first thing I wondered... is it -that- shuttle. I guess it is. Patience is a virtue, or so I'm told; so I guess we get to practice our virtues.
