Yeah I saw, just saying. Personally I'm not particularly happy with it, but then that's pretty much what Christianity is now, there's not one Christian tradition, they're all borrowed from earlier sources, as is much of the mythology, especially some of the things seen as uniquely Christian. It think that's probably true of most religions, they are in their own way a brand name and they need to play to their demographic in order to gain 'subscribers'

There has been much reference to Dante's Inferno.

Is it a divine, theological work, with Biblical authority, or is it simply a fine and powerful work of fiction with a theological theme?

Just for the sake of pointing it out, religion's 'borrowing' from one another isn't, in fact the only conclusion that we can draw from the similarities. It's also conceivable that the similarities stem from a shared truth, which each religion gets slightly wrong.

Discussing which of these it is, of course, is where the fun creeps in xD
