TQVM, pbw. I'm always happy to help. Or even
to instigate! (hehe)
Means everyone but me is living in the midst
of project debris and we're *all* happy.
I've no room for more stuff. Darnit.
Projection of our Big Damn Thingy on an
outdoor wall? Shiny! Will you project
captions or will you deafen the neighborhood?
Keep us posted.

Oy. For someone who likes to be busy a lot, getting sick from mono is a real downer. Couldn't pick up a pencil without needing a three hour nap. On the upside, I did finish that gift for my brother, the world's only homestarrunner.com Trivial Pursuit game:
Now HE just has to make the cards.
As of now, work has resumed on the machine. I've ordered replacement parts for that beast, looked into modifications to it's layout, and am taking final measurements for the vinal artwork to cover it. The only thing I'm really worried about is who my roomate will be this semester. Will he be a
, or a
, or a
, or even a
? Only time will tell.
No, I am not insane, I am crazy. Thank you for asking.

Mono! Eeeeeeeeeeek! Been there and done that.
Freshman year. Wasn't much pencil-picking-up
done by me that semester.
Un-fond memories.
Get weller, pbw. Take it nice and easy. No relapsing, now. Y'hear?

I can now say that I'm no longer under the influence of mononucleosis, however it's spelled, and against all odds, there's snow in New Hampshire! I thought the stuff was extinct, however that's spelled.
I noticed that I'm half an hour into tomarrow, which is the day my full size test prints of the pinball playfield will be ready. Had a long discussion with the nice old ladies at Staples about why I needed such an unusual paper size. Once I get a sense for the appearence of the artwork outside a tiny computer screen, I can make final changes and get a vinal version done. It'll still take a while till then.
And remember kids, I got all my errands done yesterday without a car. Use your legs America, and see if you can find any national pride left while you're out. You won't. Anyone who wants to become a citizen of Peteopolis simply need to send in an application form of their choice and a McIntosh apple, however that's spelled.
No, I am not insane, I am crazy. Thank you for asking.

Ah, more progress, pbw.
Is the roommate a firefly and pinball
appreciator? Sure hope you're compatible.
When I was in college a friend was horrified
freshman year when he was assigned a roomie
who was a Bio major and kept their room about
3/4 full of sweet little froggies and such.
They were both sweet, wonderful guys, each
a little weird in his own way. They ended up
friends, though F never got used to B having
all the fauna in the room, in the drawers, atop
the bookcase, on the windowsill....
Oh, and there were lizards, too.

That's awesome! I've always liked frogs for some reason. It is a bit of a head scratcher as to why that guy had his room filled to the brim with them, though.
As it turnes out, I haven't been assigned a new roomate, so now I have a single/double! Flippin sweet bachelor pad, however that's spelled.
My former roomate was both a flan and a supporter for my project. It was me that got him hooked, and now we work out a media fix satisfying system: I provide his Firefly fix and he provides my Halo fix. Works pretty good.
Now that the designs are done, it's time to focus on the hardware & software work of the machine. I've found a teacher who might be able to helpp me hotwire something that will replace the broken sound fx board. Also, time to start up the Keene Browncoats. Wish me luck, and fewer hangovers on Sunday mornings.

Yay! Updates! This had fallen from my mind, 'cause Y have absolutely no attention span, but it's neat to know you're still working on it! ... yeah.
But, that's just shiny, you know.

May not be smart, and it may not please you, but you're definitely gonna see what I have to say.

Bio major. Raising for projects. And there were
some rescue-ees.

Great on the double/single.
Wonder if the word is out about your strange
tastes in amusement? H'mmm.
True dat, about the weekend drink. And the
puculation. Especially on the shoes. Do
NOT decorate their shoes unless you wish to
create a longterm memorable event.
