Astri
I have archived the first 8 acts as .mht files, and will do all the others (OOCs included) - except the active ones, today.

The extension .MHT is a way of archiving HTML files with out having to have a seperate folder for graphics and the like.

If ya want 'em, I can email them to ya.

New Hikido - I think Humble made it up. He told me he wanted something that sounded Asian and exotic. I don't think he knew there was a place with a like-sounding name. Hence my spelling. I'll cheerfully switch over to the majority opinion. Makes no nevermind to me, really.

Therefore I'm with Astriana - I don't believe NH was ever mentioned in the series. I don't know where Hera is in the galactic scheme of things. I'd like to think of it as a planet somewhere between the core and the rim. Not rich and flush, but not destitute either.

I had a brainstorm on all this that I'm going to throw out there. Mal mentioned luxery liners in Out of Gas - them that come from the core worlds might pay for a stellar cruise (a la Floston Paradise in The Fifth Element). Something long and leisurely that would take them past a galactic anomoly of some such. In theory, that liner would have to refuel for the trip back, which would lead stopping at a space station or the like. That space station could be orbiting a mining planet...called New Hokkaido (see? ah'm practicin').

Great post, Teela, though I'm not sure if River said that or only thought it.

Damon is still sleeping. He needs the rest and I have a lot on my plate in the real world at the moment. So I figure letting him sleep is a great opportunity to catch up on some work. Mal told Wash to tell him when they are 10 minutes from landing, Damon will be awake by then at the very latest.

Anyway, with that said, I return to my homework. I'll still be on FFF.net checking for posts several times a day, so don't worry, I'm not TOO busy. There's always time for Firefly

My! We've been busy little beavers while Madame was hogging the computer.

First things first. I'll be offline tomorrow while driving to a family visit, and probably up an hour a day in the evening if I can get a terminal at the library until Wednesday. So take as much time as you'd like to get to the Valley. If anyone needs to talk with Mal or Thorne, please feel free to take both sides.

Like the idea of blended posts. I'll probably be wanting to do one of thise with Maniac in a bit.

You say Hakido and I say Hokkaido. It's a matter of total indifference to me. We could let everyone use what thay want as far as I'm concerned. Ever read 18th century letters or other writings in the original text? Spelling was sort of casual, but you could understand it. I've been told that spelling wasn't really standardized until Webster's Dictionary.

Oops. Angel time. See you Friday some time.

Heeeyy... our OOC thread isn't on the Latest Discussions list...

shouldn't 30 posts in one day count for something?

*sigh* nothing like crusing the FFF.net to relieve the stresses of RL. You wanna hear something really whacky? My mom just got a letter saying that now that I'm going to be 19, I won't have health insurance if I'm not in school full time. Now, someone please tell me why the diyu my health insurane cares how many classes I'm taking in a community college.
I'm already taking all of the writing classes I can get but they won't be enough, I don't know what else to take cuz I don't know what I want to major in, and frankly: I'm happy taking two classes and RPing the whole day
No, but really, I don't like being pressured and now I'm not allowed to get my feet wet on the steps, I'm being dragged over to the deep end. *sigh*
Then I find out that my birthday is not the week after next, but this coming Tuesday. That's not such a bad thing, but I have projects due soon and I've been telling myself: "Oh, I have plenty of time, my birthday is still two weeks away."
**hears Jayne ask: What month is it?"
Well, that's my life right now... thanks for listening, I feel much better.

Well, Kaylee really doesn't have anything much to do right now, so I'll just lurk and read whatever's posted.

Hope I can fit her in again when we reach the pick up point.
