Definitely from Buffy, not Angel. I think it must have been during the second or third season, because Buffy and Angel were... serious.
Buffy says something and Angel responds with something like, "our lives are not our own."
Thanks.

Wow. As quotey as Angel/Buffy are, that's one that comes off as a bit too generic. I tried IMDB, but to no avail. I'm not dismissing it as unimportant, but quite the opposite. So much is poured into the writing of these shows, and of course Firefly, it made me think of something Morena Baccarin had said while appearing at a panal discussion, I think. The scene where River is trying to 'fix' the Bible..
Book: It's not about making sense. It's about believing in something, and letting that belief be real enough to change your life. It's about faith. You don't fix faith, River. It fixes you.
Morena hadn't heard those lines before, and was impressed at how beautifully the scene was written.
Wish I could be of more help. Good luck.
People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss
" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

wow yea thats a tough one, i can't recall that line at all, my best guess would be maybe "amends", but that's a complete and total guess
"Haha, mine is an evil laugh."

Sorry--incorrect.

Angel (to Doyle): "The Oracles told me that I was released from my duty. Buffy and I were together until... we realized it couldn't be. We don't belong to ourselves. We belong in the world, fighting. So, I went back to the Oracles and I asked them to turn back the clock... as though that day had never happened."
(Angel, Season 1, Episode 9, "Hero.")

Oh, I'm a walking, talking library of BtVS and AtS quotes. It's kinda disturbing, actually. Way beyond just the average obsessed fanboy thing.
I think I can probably rattle off every line Andrew ever said, because Andrew's just awesomely quotable, and awesomely awesome...
To be honest, I had to look this one up. I didn't immediately recognize it, but it was familiar enough that I could associate "belong in the world" with it. And I just had a feeling it was from AtS, 'cause to be honest, Angel never did enough on BtVS that would make him consider himself that important to the world. Seriously, he did way less fighting at Buffy's side than even Xander did, and when he occasionally did pitch in... well, my favorite moment is early in S2 (I think it was "I Was Made to Love You") when an anonymous, loser vamp completely lays him out with the business end of a shovel... LOL

You are awesome! Thank you. I can't believe I got so confused. But, at least it did involve Buffy a little...
