The charts are correct, but to figure the "Time to intercept" you need the following equations (appologies for the cluge, this is text, not matlab):
TotalVotesShow1 - TotalVotesShow2 = RangeBetweenShows
e.g. Bonanza - Firefly = RangeBetweenShows
153,217 - 123,533 = 29,684
How many votes did each show get?
TotalVotesShow1today - TotalVotesShow1yesterday = Show1VoteChange
e.g. (Bonanza) 153,217 - 152,502 = 715
Repeat For Show2:
e.g. (Firefly) 123,533 - 122,495 = 1,038
How fast are the shows coming together?
Show1VoteChange - Show2VoteChange = ClosureRate
e.g. Bonanza - Firefly = ClosureRate
715 - 1,038 = -323
If the difference is negative, as it is here, Show1 (The show with more Total votes)(Bonanza) is loosing it's lead to Show2(Firefly. If the diference were positive, Show1 would be extending it's lead over Show2, and Show2 will NOT catch Show1 at the current voting rates.
When will the shows come together?

There had been some attempt here to get a nomination drive running for the "yet to premier" TV series Drive. While we had reached the conclusion TV Vote was not accepting nominations until the first episode would air, here's "the word" confirming it...

Oh, and we only accept votes for TV shows that are currently or have
been on the air. Shows that have not yet appeared are ignored until
they start up. I mention this because we have gotten some votes
recently for the new Tim Minear (Angel, Wonderfalls, etc) produced
show, Drive, but the first episode has not been telecast so they didn't
get counted.
I will be watching for this one on Fox as a Minear fan (he actually
started as a story editor on X-Files), but it's a little premature to
decide if Drive is one of the Best Shows of All Time.
