Favourite movie with a depressing ending.

I totally agree with you. I think it was her head. I mean, couldn't you see blonde hair? It's been a while since I've seen it so I can't quite remember. I've heard that thing 'bout the baby too. Hear, hear. I watched that film for a philosophy class. Eventually, I'll get around to reading the book.
My vote goes to The Rules Of Attraction. It's based on a Bret Easton Ellis novel (who writes pretty messed up novels to begin with). Everyone's in love with everyone else, and everyone ends up alone. The book's even worse than the movie; I was never able to finish it.

The end of Terminator 3 was a bit surprising even though it shouldn't be. I mean, if it doesn't end that way then the first two films never take place. Sitting in the theater I kept thinking, "okay, what lame ass plot twist will be thrown in so that the world will be saved?" Imagine my surpirse when the bombs started raining down.
On another note I can't believe how many of you didn't like the end of Seven. An ending where the bad guy wins by having the hero execute him. It doesn't get much better than that.

For me, it's a toss-up between Patch Adams and Dead Poet's Society. Neal was pretty cool, but the end of Patch made me cry a little.
