Yup. Fox showed a commercial for Drive (Tim Minear's new project with Nathan Fillion) during the premire of 24. I was already excited. Now at least they're advertising it during what should have been one of their biggest ratings draws.

Man, if I didn't think 24 was such a bad show, I'd watch it just for the commercial. Maybe I can record it, though...

oh it's not that bad, and it is worth it for the Drive ads. Though it looks like footage from, the old pilot, as I think they replaced Alan Ruck, unfortunatly. He's lots of fun. But ... Nathan and Tim working together again. Joy.

They just said "Coming Soon" but I think Tim said March/April after Idol.

A reliable source has told us that Drive will premiere on April 15th with two episodes and that the third will air on the 16th, before the show settles into its regular timeslot on Monday at 8pm.

This could change before then, but at the moment that's how it is. And it doesn't suck.

So did the pilot already air? The pilot from before the cast change?

If so, is it viewable online anywhere? I have some catchin up to do.

I just told my 12-year-old son about Tim Minear's new series. He was wrinkling his nose and started shaking his head as I gave him a quick overview of the plot. I paused and he said, "I'm not gonna like it." So I said "and it stars Nathan Fillion." Without missing a beat he said "I'm gonna love it."

Detective Ehrle... LOL! I love it when the flans get a nod.
