Hello and Goodbye, DTH and Magda!
Man, I hate the time zone thing. I need to figure out some space time continuum thing whereas Magda could be online a few hours longer.

Morning, all!
Qing ren,
I missed a lot this weekend, so I'll be lurking for a spell until I get caught up. Until then, I agree with Mav...coffee time!
Oh, Neko, if you read this, I am very, very hard to get ahold of on the phone. (I missed your last post, sorry!) I don't cary it with me in the house, and I don't answer it if there is no number showing up on the ID thing. Email is the best way to get in touch!

Morning all..wow did I miss abunch this weekend. On a plus side. our houseguest decided to stay with his new girlfriend instead!! so I am happy ( though coming down with some sort of cold)
Strictness of parents- mine( I'm discovering) were quite strict. I wasn't allowed to go to the corner market without my nanny until I was 12. I wasn't allowed to date until 16. I had a curfew of midnight because my mother always said "bad things happen after midnight" However, as many have noted. These rules got more and more relaxed as each sibling after me came along. We all turned out fine though , but actually I'm glad I got to be a kid for longer. I look at my students and all the energy they put into being adult at the age of 12 and I'm glad I was busily organizing the neighborhood kids into doing plays to perform for the adults at that age.
Toilet seat- down and closed, but NOT because of any female mandate, just think it's far more hygenic and less icky than exposed sewer water.
Going to make some tea and contemplate how I am going to teach reciprocal fractions to half conscious 12 year olds who are busy trying to figure out the mechanics of flirting.

Morning, MSG!
Yeah, they were busy this weekend!
I do not envy you the task you have before you today...I had bad flashbacks to math classes just hearing about fractions....

Fractions? *shudder*
I'm lucky to be able to cut a cake into pieces correctly! Fractions are not my strong point...

Thanks, Mav. I really need to start collecting emoties again....
That's why I like those apple-cutters/corers they have out there...no fuss, no muss, no trying to figure out how many pieces....we need something like that for cakes....
