It's like the political version of Welles' "War of the Worlds" broadcast.

Too bad the Belgians don't seem to have a sense of humour about it.

I am not so sure about the whole "Belgium exists" thing.

I reckon it is up there with Idaho on the "list of them places wat they want us to think are real".

The European parliament is in Brussels, which is in Belgium... so if Belgium doesn't exist, neither does the European parliament! Looks like the Brits get their wish!

The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter.

Silly you. EVERYONE knows that the European Parliment doesn't really exist. There are just a bunch of blokes in Hounslow havin a laugh! Sit down the pub and make up a bunch of unrealistic rules and regulations and watch the little people go nuts.
