Drug addicts are not people.
OR...
Drugs are already poison and the addicts are poisoning themselves, so our addition of a few new herbs and spices is merely making their voluntary self destruction less drawn out and time consuming.
I would never advocate the poisoning of a Democrat although most of them could use varying degrees of blunt force trauma to the head. I wouldn't wish a stroke on anyone...

You mean the way Democratic governor Casey did the "right thing" and appointed a Republican to replace Republican Senator Heinz when he died? Oh wait. He didn't -- he appointed a Democrat.
You should know a bit about the history of these sort of things before you start making hypocritical accusations.

After the news about the Senator first broke, there were a number of stories about other Senators in the past and their health problems.
The one thing I took away from the retrospectives is that Senator's are not leaving office unless they die. They may be unable to function, but they're holding on to that office by the skin of their teeth. Probably has something to do with the overdeveloped egos that are pretty much a given at that level of government.
