I would mainly use the font with people I know and like. I would very much enjoy to continue watching sarcasm go over some peoples' heads though. It's so much fun.

Well, not so much figuring it out as finally putting it down in writing (typing?), though the smoking room most likely had some effect on that.

JQ - I agree, sipping it like a brandy is good, though shots have their place too. On the rocks/mixed with Coke is nice, and sometimes chugging it is necessary as well. Basically, any method of imbibing Jack is ok with me. I even add it to my BBQ sauce. :)

Ever have it with gingerale? If I must mix, I'll take it with Detroit's finest, Vernor's, which considers itself too good to be called "gingerale". For those of us brought up on the stuff, there is no substitute. That said, I LOVE Stewart's Ginger Beer. It has a delightful kick that can only be compared to black pepper. I've not tried it yet with Morgan, but I suspect it could only be good.

I have never been much of a fan of ginger ale, though it may be because I have only had the cheap stuff from the grocery store soda isle. It always reminds me of being sick when I was younger. If I am mixing my Jack, I use Classic Coke, or sometimes Cherry Coke (though making it with cherry juice is good too). I also like it in a Manhattan, with a little sweet vermouth and grenadine.
I need to try this Vernor's, and also the ginger beer. If it is good enough, I may even try to make some of my own, as I have heard that it is not too hard.
